Coronavirus: Italy starts voluntary vaccines

Volunteer testing of an Italian vaccine candidate began Monday in Rome at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases at Spallanzani Hospital.

It was decided that another 90 people out of the 7,000 who showed up to be inoculated with the vaccine, known as GRAd-VOC2, in phase one. The vaccine is produced through ReiThera, a biotechnology company near Rome.

Half of the participants are 55 years old and part of 65. COVID-19 vaccine.
