Santo Domingo – The Dominican Republic surpassed 95,000 coronavirus infections on Wednesday, after counting 648 new positives in more than 24 hours, an era in which another 27 people also died.
The Department of Public Health reported a total of 95,627 and 1,765 deaths.
On the last day, 3,120 were treated for a total of 376,121 since the pandemic began on 1 March.On average, 2,033 tests are conducted in the country in line with the day, one of the lowest figures on the continent.
According to organizations, the region average exceeds 4,000 tests.
