The total of 878,254 corresponds only to the United States and Brazil. The Ministry of Health also reported another 500 deaths in the last 24 hours on Monday, bringing the total number of deaths in India due to COVID-19 to 23,174.
The ministry said the recovery rate continued to 63%.
