Coronavirus in the United States: In the state, those counties are the ones where COVID-19 instances are spreading the fastest

It has been about seven months since COVID-19 declared a pandemic in the United States and, at that time, more than 210,000 Americans died from the new coronavirus, the highest number of deaths in all countries. 2020 in a difficult way to predict, expanding in one region, appearing symptoms of improvement and then reappearing in other areas, this has been accompanied by inconsistent safety measures and regulations from one state to another, and even at the local level. Across the country, the number of new daily cases across the country ranged from 30,000 to 50,000 depending on the day, less than this summer’s outbreak, but more than the first months of the pandemic. And while some states continue to report relatively low numbers. to its spring and summer peaks, each state has at least one county in which cases have increased.

Using the knowledge of state and local fitness departments, 2four/7 Wall St. compiled and tested the daily average of new COVID-19 instances shown for the week ended October 4 and compared to the daily average of new instances from the following week to the county in all states where the virus is spreading faster, taking into account the population. We exclude counties with fewer than 5,000 residents, as well as those with fewer than 20 new cases reported in more than 1 four days. Since no up-to-date knowledge of Missouri was available, this state was excluded from our list.

Although each and every state, for which there is sufficient data, has at least one equivalent county or county with a weekly accumulation of COVID-19 cases, the virus is spreading much faster in some of those counties than in others. , in seven states, the county with the fastest-developing COVID-19 recorded an accumulation of more than 50 new instances daily consisting of 100,000 inhabitants in the week ended October 4 compared to the week ended September 27.

By contrast, in thirteen states, no county recorded an accumulation of more than 10 cases consisting of 100,000 inhabitants from week to week. Most of those states are on the west coast or in the northeast. Unsurprisingly, almost all of these states have been among the lowest average new cases consisting of 100,000 inhabitants in the following week. These are the states where the spread of the virus slows down and worsens.
