Speaking at a press convention Saturday, Ministry of Health spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari estimated the death toll of COVID-19 in Iran in 21359, the disease had claimed the lives of 110 patients in the last 24 hours.
He said that the total number of other people who tested positive for COVID-19 in the country had risen to 371,816 after the detection of 1905 new cases since Friday.
Of the new ones detected since yesterday, 857 patients have been admitted to the hospital, he added.
At least 319847 patients have recovered from coronavirus infection or been discharged from hospitals throughout Iran, the spokeswoman said.
Of those currently being treated in medical facilities, 3,791 patients with coronaviruses have critical fitness disorders due to a more serious infection, Lari noted.
In addition, it indicated that more than 3184,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been conducted in Iran.
