Labor Day is approaching, and for many Floridans, spend this day (or this weekend) going to the beach.
Coronavirus cases in August were not as high as last month for the sunshine state, the death toll in Florida exceeded 10,000 this month, and as of September 2, the state had lost 11,374 Floridans to the virus.
Most of Florida’s beaches will be open for the holidays (see the list below), a big difference from governments’ reaction to the Fourth of July holidays, when many counties had opted for reduced hours or closures for transience, especially in South Florida.

Since the pandemic began in mid-March, Florida reached 100,000 instances on June 22 and 200,000 on July 5.Ten days later, on July 15, the state took a new step with 300,000 instances of COVID-19.On July 24, the state recorded more than 400,000 cases and reached 500,000 through August 5.On August 23, the state recorded more than 600,000 cases.As of September 2, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state was 631,040.
According to the CDC and the Florida Department of Health, social estating, masking and avoiding giant equipment are recommended.

• Okaloosa County, which includes the beaches of Fort Walton Beach and Destin (Henderson Beach, James Lee Beach, Princess Beach, Matterhorn, White Point and some beaches outside Eglin Air Force Base): the beaches are open from sunrise to dusk, adding public and personal beaches; bathroom; access to the beach; and okaloosa Island’s fishing pier.The Okaloosa domain of Gulf Islands National Seashore and access to the beach and parking in Henderson Beach State Park are also open.Eglin Beach Park hours are 10 a.m.7 p.m. daily with $five parking by credit card only.Visit destinfwb.com.

Bay County, whose beaches are located on the northwest coast of the Gulf of Florida, Mexico Beach and Panama City Beach: the beaches are open 24 hours a day.Visit co.bay.fl.us.

On Thursday, two counties announced beach closures for transitoryness before the holidays.
Palm Beach County, which includes Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Delray Beach: Most of the beaches here are open and bathers adhere to the rules of social distance and the chorus of spending time in giant groups.
These Palm Beach County beaches are open to …but coastal corporations want Labor Day
However, Palm Beach will close its public beaches over Labor Day weekend.The closure includes the city’s two public patrolled beaches in Midtown Beach and Phipps Ocean Park and beach spots. Please note that the beaches will be closed from 5 to 7 September and reopen on 8 September..

Monroe County, which includes the Florida Keys.Parks and beaches are open until dusk in Monroe County, Key West and the city of Marathon; however, social esttachment is recommended and avoid giant crowds.
An online report for the town of Islamorada indicates that parks, beaches, and release ramps are closed until Labor Day. The closure includes Anne’s Beach, Library Beach Park and the domain known as Fills (mileage 77.5 to 79.8).
Founders Park is open only to citizens and owners of Islamorada.Proof of ownership of the house will be required.
Amenities will reopen on Tuesday, 2020 to 50% of their capacity, according to the notice.
