The world’s most active foreign center sent the K-9 for immediate COVID-19 testing earlier this month, SF Gate reports. All persons arriving in the United Arab Emirates must be screened for viral diseases prior to departure and must be tested for negative access results.

In addition, Gulf News reported Wednesday that the Dubai Police K-9 unit had conducted tests in the last 3 weeks of the test, with an overall “impressive” accuracy of 91%.
In partnership with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), “potentially inflamed passengers” traveling in DXB enter a designated check domain to give an odour pattern a pattern of their insufficiency, according to TravelPulse. From there, trained dogs are presented with patterns in some other remote room, smelling the scents of the frame through a funnel-shaped device.
If the dog detects what could be COVID-19, the passenger, who was left waiting a few minutes, is asked to undergo a nasal PCR test, according to SFGate.

“If the pattern turns out to be sharp, the dog will face him. It will only take a few minutes,” Major Salah Khalifa Al Mazrouei, director of Dubai Police’s K-9 security inspection unit, told Gulf News.
“The United Arab Emirates are the first in the world to use K9 police dogs. We are in direct contact with experts in the UK and France to exercise our dogs and stumble upon the virus,” Al Mazroui added.
