Bahrain’s crown prince, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad, volunteered for phase 3 clinical trials of the island kingdom for a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a photo showing taking a dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
According to the photo shared on social media, Crown Prince Sheikh Salman was photographed wearing a yellow mask with the words “we run as one” while receiving a dose of the possible vaccine.

Bahrain is currently conducting phase 3 clinical trials of the 4Humanity campaign, which is being conducted through G42 Healthcare, in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan.
Trials began in Abu Dhabi on July 16 and are being monitored through G42 Healthcare in partnership with Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates (MoHAP) and the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).

Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Supreme Health Council and head of the National Working Group on Coronavirus, presses on the importance of positive citizen participation in the third phase of the coronavirus vaccine trials, which is overseen through the executive organization working heavily with the government to address this pandemic to the highest standards.
Al-Khalifa demonstrated that more than 4,000 volunteers have registered for trials.
