Football star Cristiano Ronaldo has tested for coronavirus, the Portuguese Football Federation (PFF) said.
The Portuguese striker will now miss his country’s League of Nations match in Sweden on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old, who also plays for Italian Juventus, “was doing well, with symptoms and in isolation”.
Ronaldo posted a photo of himself on Instagram on Monday when he was sitting around a long table with colleagues from the Portugal national team.

However, no other tests were reported on the team prior to the opposite adjustment to Sweden.
The PFF showed in a statement: “After the positive case, the remaining players underwent extra tests on Tuesday morning, all with negative results, and Fernando Santos will be given to work out this afternoon at Cidade do Futebol.
“The adjustment (against Sweden), counting for the League of Nations standings, is scheduled for Wednesday, 7:45 p. m. , in Alvalade. “
Ronaldo had played in Portugal’s matches until now the foreign stop.
