Coronavirus: COVID-19 PCR verification wanted the UAE, here’s everything you want to know

All travellers arriving or transiting the United Arab Emirates should negatively check the COVID-19 PCR from 1 August, the government announced on Wednesday.

The announcement is a change of policy, and now tourists, citizens and citizens, as well as those transiting the airport, must pass a coronavirus check before reaching the UAE.

Previously, the United Arab Emirates had declared that passing a PCR check upon arrival at the airport was sufficient.

According to Emirates check details, 29 countries required a coronavirus check before boarding the aircraft and returning on arrival, while all other countries only required verification before boarding.

The update also added that flights from Dubai to the UK or the European Union required a PCR before arriving at uaE airport.

Note: Although the announcement indicates that it applies to the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, in the past, the announced regulations related to the United Arab Emirates have not been implemented in the emirate of Dubai.
