Residents of the United Arab Emirates no longer want to apply for prior approval before returning to the country from Wednesday, August 12, as the government continues to reduce restrictions on coronaviruses, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced.

In an effort to speed up the return process, the government has replaced registration procedures and waits with automated prior approval that no longer requires travelers to apply in advance.
Citizens wishing to return to the United Arab Emirates must, however, inform the airline of the negative effects of the COVID-19 check issued within 96 hours of the scheduled flight time.

The announcement, which is part of the time stage of the country’s reopening, coincides with the end of the summer holidays for educational establishments and the return of advertising and social activities, NCEMA said in a message on Twitter.
The government also stated that all precautionary and prevention measures, adding quarantine and downloading the Alhosn app, will be implemented for citizens upon arrival.
