Interior Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, September 9, bringing the total number of cases in the region from the beginning of the pandemic to 462.
Sixteen of these cases are active and isolated and no one in the hospital has recently been hospitalized.
The outbreak at the Okanagan Correctional Center continues in seven cases, with one remaining active case. All seven cases concerned staff members, five of whom pasted the virus into an off-site educational session.
There are no cases of indoor fitness related to the Elk Valley water remedy allocation outbreak (declared August 27).
At the provincial level, the fitness government reported one hundred new instances of the virus on Wednesday, raising the number of active instances in British Columbia: 1,378.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,691 inhabitants of British Columbia have become inflamed with COVID-19 and 5,086 others who tested positive have recovered. The number of others under active public aptitude surveillance due to known exposure to known cases is 3,101.
Currently, another 37 people in the province are hospitalized and 15 are in intensive care.
