Coronavirus: 2 baby girls among new imported cases in Singapore

SINGAPORE – Two of the 3 new imported instances of Covid-19 announced on Friday (17 July) were one-year-old girls who returned from India.

One has a dependent pass and he has a long-term pass.

The first baby arrived in Singapore on Wednesday and developed symptoms on Thursday, while the woman arrived here on June 26 and was asymptomatic.

Both tested on Friday.

The third imported patient was a Singaporean who returned from the Philippines on July 6.

All imported patients were subjected to 14-day notices upon arrival in Singapore and were evaluated while indicating their opinions.

On Friday, the Ministry of Health also announced the 15th case of Singapore of a patient who underwent a coronavirus test but died of other causes.

The 72-year-old Singaporean, who one of nine new network instances announced on Friday, died Wednesday.

The woman was taken to the emergency branch of the National University Hospital that day for reasons beyond Covid-19. She had a history of diabetes.

She showed that she was positive at Covid-19 on thursday after her death. The cause of death intracerebral hemorrhage, the ministry of fitness said.
