CORNING, N. Y. , Sept. 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) officially opened a new fiber optic production facility in Mszczonów, Poland, to meet the growing demand for broadband connectivity in and around the European Union. Regions.

“Corning is expanding its fiber production business in Europe as our consumers increase their investments in future-proof networks,” said Corning President and CEO Wendell P. Weeks. “From broadband to 5G to cloud computing, every network of tomorrow is fiber optic. “This facility will allow us to continue to serve our consumers well in Europe and beyond.
