Cooperation between Kazakhstan and the U. S. U. S. Citizens in Astana Schooling

ASTANA. The KAZINFORM FLEX exchange program and other school problems were discussed at an assembly of Kazakhstan’s Minister of Enlightenment, Askhat Aimagambetov, and U. S. Ambassador Askhat Aimagambetov. U. S. Centers for Attorney General Daniel Rosenblum in Astana on Dec. 14, Kazinform reports.

As reported through the ministry’s press office, the parties also discussed instructor systems and certificate recognition.

“Kazakhstan and the United States have established mutually favorable cooperation in the field of education. We have various exchange programs. For example, more than 2000 Kazakh schoolchildren have already studied under the FLEX program in the United States. We are also advancing the progression of STEM and inclusive education. I hope that cooperation will continue in all these areas,” Askhat Aimagambetov said.

U. S. Ambassador The U. S. expressed its readiness to cooperate and the prospect of bilateral cooperation.

“The education of the younger generation is the long term of a country. This is a vital mission. As you pointed out, we have been cooperating effectively for many years. We are in a position to continue our cooperation, especially with regard to train-the-trainer programs in Kazakhstan,” said Daniel Rosenblum.

The assembly also addressed other interaction issues in education: instructor refresher courses, school progression and inclusive education.

The parties expressed their interest in strengthening and expanding the partnership in pre-school, secondary, technical and vocational education.
