MANILA (Reuters) – Philippines reported 5032 more coronavirus infections on Sunday, the largest accumulation recorded in a day, bringing the number of cases shown in the country to 103185.
In a bulletin, the Ministry of Health said the number of coronavirus deaths in this Southeast Asian country had increased from 20 to 2059.
President Rodrigo Duterte will meet with key members of the cupboard on Sunday to discuss a call through frontline medical teams to deliver the capital Manila, which represents the maximum of infections, under a stricter blockage, his spokesman said.
