While the total number of instances shown of Covid-19 in India has exceeded 40 lakh, with the addition of more than 86,000 new instances in the last 24 hours, the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) has presented an amended Covid-19 strategy for containment and outdoor areas.
With 40 instances of lakh, India is now very close to Brazil, which is currently in the overall Count of Covid-19.
More than 31 Lakh Indians have already recovered. There are approximately 8. 46 patients with Covid-19 active lakh in the country. Up to 69,561 others have died from the infection, adding 1,089 in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, ICMR has issued an amended statement calling for the extension of Covid-19’s reach in the country.
He warned that all other people living in containment spaces deserve to be subjected to immediate antigen (RAT) testing, especially in cities that have witnessed widespread transmission of the infection.
In addition, in containment areas, RAT will be the first screening selection, followed by real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), TrueNat, or Cartridge Nucleic Acid Amplification Verification (CBNAAT) in terms of preference. cases in containment areas, adding physical care and front-line workers. Similarly, all direct and asymptomatic contacts of laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 patients will also need to be controlled. The ICMR also states that verification will be mandatory for populations. high risk (people over 65 or with comorbidities) in containment areas.
For the monitoring of regimens in containment-free areas, the first verification selection would be RT-PCR, TruNat or CBNAAT. RAT can simply be the moment selection.
The control should be carried out on all symptomatic people who have traveled within 14 days, migrants with symptoms within seven days and all asymptomatic contacts with a higher risk of cases shown.
In hospital settings, all patients with symptoms of severe acute respiratory infection (ASI) or influenza syndrome (SSM) and all high-risk asymptomatic patients (over 65 years of age, immunosuppressed individuals, patients diagnosed with malignant disease or comorities and transplant patients) to be tested for Covid-19 The order of preference in hospital situations would be RT-PCR or its variants, followed by RAT.
CimR stated that its view is generic in nature and that states are free to modify it to meet their needs.
