Common Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) Among Adolescents in India

Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) have one of the most demanding fitness and progression situations of the century. NCDs are noncommunicable diseases, meaning they do not spread from user to user. They come with serious ailments like central disease, diabetes, cancer, and chronic lung ailments like asthma and COPD, and now they also come with intellectual fitness. The main threat points to blame for NCDs are behavioural aspects such as smoking and physical inactivity, as well as metabolic factors such as overweight/obesity and high blood pressure (BP), high cholesterol and hyperglycaemia that contribute to their prevalence. Among adolescents in India, those risk points are becoming more prevalent, leading to an accumulation of NCDs, says Dr. Brown. Nalini Saligram, founder and CEO of Arogya World.
