Nearly a decade later, the 37-year-old Albuquerque Isotopes manager officially won his call-up to the major leagues this week. He was named to the 2023 Rockies coaching staff. He will be the team’s third base coach and supervise infielders.
“It’s a testament to the organization,” Schaeffer said. I’m very, very grateful to the Rockies, from Dick (Monfort, the team owner) all the way down. I am very grateful for the oportunidad. me gave a task as a hitting coach to start my career in 2013 for an Array210 running hitter. They had to take a big leap of religion to give me a chance, and I’ll be grateful for that.
