Collection of 2 loose reusable masks for Singaporeans begins September 21

SINGAPORE – A fourth national mask distribution training is underway for assistance opposed to the Covid-19.

Singaporeans can retrieve two reusable masks for each government-issued ID card from Monday, September 21.

The initiative belongs to the Temasek Foundation. Masks can be retrieved from vending machines by scanning the barcodes of an NRIC, a school card, a birth certificate, a FIN or any identity issued through the government with a barcode.

Domestic staff and staff with paint passes must also recover the masks. Young children up to the age of 12 have the right to collect child-sized masks.

Residents can meet on behalf of the circle of family, members and friends by bringing and scanning barcodes on their respective government-issued IDs.

Temasek leader and leader Array Ho Ching announced facebook training on September 9.

The mask collection will last two weeks and last until October 4.

In her message, Ms. Ho said there was enough white cloth mask and suggested others return the mask after the first 3 days to the crowds.

Mask vending machines were operating at 9:10 a. m. this morning when the Straits Times visited Tampines City RC. Queues were absent in the problems of Tampines Arcadia RC and Our Tampines Hub.

The public can access this online page to locate the locations of vending machines of other types of masks, as well as the availability of mask stock.

An earlier mask distribution circular was held in June and July at some 1,200 vending machines at bus interchanges, network centers/clubs and resident committee centres.
