COlby Covington of UFC said he tested negative for COVID-19 after being invited to President Donald Trump’s Tuesday debate opposed to Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
“I have been tested 7 times in the last 3 weeks, adding before and after adjustment with POTUS. I was also tested the week of combat, as well as before and after the debate. ALL NEGATIVE,” Covington wrote on Instagram.
Trump is lately at Walter Reed Medical Center on treatment for COVID-19 after 20 positive this week. No member of Trump’s closet who attended the debate wore masks, and the president was not examined on site because he was late.
Councillor Hope Hicks, who accompanied the president to the debate on Tuesday, was the first company user known to have contracted the virus, but it is not known whether she or the president ignited the debate.
Biden and his wife, Jill, tested negative for the virus, Biden wore a mask in the debate, unlike the former vice president.
Covington, a staunch supporter of the debatable president, and Trump called him after his UFC Fight Night win over Tyron Woodley in September.
