Civil society praises Saudi Arabia for achieving Hajj despite coronavirus

Independent Hajj Reporters, a civil society organization that monitors and reports on Hajj’s activities in Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia skillfully led by the custodian of the two sacred mosques, King Salman Bn Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad. Bn Salman for effectively organizing the Hajj 2020 despite the ongoing Pandemic Covid-19.

IHR sent its congratulations in a written letter sent to the Saudi minister of Hajj and Umra, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Bin Taher Benten said: “We wrote to congratulate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia specifically to the father of the two sacred mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for his remarkable leadership leadership that led to a successful leadership of Hajj 2020 despite the existing pandemic of Covid-19.

The letter signed by IHR national coordinator Ibrahim Muhammed and sent through the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Nigeria.

“After receiving the letter, the head of affairs at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Nigeria, Mr. Alfawzan thanked the independent hounds of the Hajj and promised to deliver the letter to the minister.”

The IHR in the letter “expresses its deepest gratitude to the Ministry of Hajj and Umra and other institutions, Americans and teams that have worked tirelessly to carry out the Hajj 2020.”

He said it is a source of joy and pride for the entire Muslim Ummah.

remember that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has effectively hosted Hajj 2020 despite devastating cases of the coronavirus pandemic; was received without the participation of pilgrims from other nations outside the Kingdom, this year’s Hajj was well organized with the utmost precautions of protection and fitness.

“In the past, world leaders congratulated King Salman on the good fortunes of this year’s Hajj rites at sacred sites and the ordinary arrangement made amid the global pandemic epidemic of coronavirus.”

“It is attractive to note that no instances of Covid-19 were registered in Operation Hayy.”
