Church Mouse resale in Palm Beach to reopen Monday for season

The Church Mouse resale will reopen for the season on Monday.

The store, which is run by Bethesda-through-the-Sea Episcopal Church, sells designer men’s clothing and accessories, antiques, artwork, books and furniture.

Daisy Alvarez, general manager of retail operations for The Church Mouse, says the hours have changed and the store will open from 10 a. m. M. A 5 p. m. Monday to Friday.

Last year, the store opened a month later, on September 8, last season was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since opening more than 50 years ago at its original location in Bradley Park, Mouse Church has donated more than $10 million of its sales to the outreach ministry of The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, adding Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Feed the Hungry Pantry, The Lord’s Place, Helping Hands Assistance Program and True Fast Outreach Ministry.

She also supports Our Little Roses, an organization for abused, abandoned and forgotten women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
