Christian County will soon offer the COVID-19 check to citizens 3 days a week.
On Thursday, county officials announced that emergency control would open a vehicle service site west of 25th Street in Ozark starting next week.
Tests will be conducted by appointment only from 7 a. m. 7 p. m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Citizens of Christian County call the emergency control workplace at 417-582-5400 to obtain a variety of phone numbers and to make an appointment, according to a news release.
People with symptoms will take precedence for testing, and then others who have no symptoms yet and who have recently had “meaningful contact” with a user who is known or suspected to have COVID-19.

The tests will be administered through Cox and Mercy and processed through PCT Laboratories, Inc. , with expected effects between 24 and 48 hours.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and local fitness will be notified of any follow-up.
If other people are sick, they should call their doctor first; If they don’t have one, they can call the coronavirus hotline at 877-435-8411.
