DHAKA: A Chinese citizen running in Bangladesh was stabbed to death by an alleged assailant in the country’s Pirojpur district, a retired Bangladeshi army primary that claimed that the “murder” had been committed through the Indian Research and Analysis Cell (RAW).
According to Dhaka Tribune, Lau Phan, 58, who worked as a leading technician on the 8th Bangladesh-China Friendship Bridge, was stabbed on his way to assignment on Wednesday night.
The publication, which mentions the Chinese citizen’s leading interpreter on the bridge, said she was going to the bridge place by motorcycle to pay workers’ wages.

Lau rushed to the hospital in Pirojpur district shortly after the incident, but died of excessive bleeding.
Pirojpur Acting Police Commissioner Molla Azad Hossain said the government is conducting “a campaign” to arrest the suspect.
Shortly after the incident, Delwar Hossain, a major retired from the Indian army, turned to Twitter to claim raw in India was the murder.
