China reports 17 new COVID-1nine cases on August 30 to nine a day before

SHANGHAI – China reported 17 new CASES of COVID-19 on August 30, compared to nine reported the previous day, the country’s fitness said Monday.

The National Health Commission said all the new cases were imported infections involving travelers returning from abroad, marking the 15th consecutive day of local infection in the country.

The number of asymptomatic cases rose to 19 from that reported the day before.
