China-made anti-covid vaccine will likely be applied faster than expected: report

But since then, China has discovered test sites of choice in the world race to produce a vaccine to fight a pandemic that has killed more than 6 lakh worldwide.

Sinopharm President Liu Jingzhen told the state-owned CCTV channel that the company planned to conduct full tests on complex humans within about 3 months, Reuters reported. Earlier this month, Sinopharm initiated Phase III clinical trials of a COVID-19 vaccine in Abu Dhabi with up to 15,000 volunteers.

The experimental vaccine passed Phases I and II clinical trials with one hundred percent volunteers generating antibodies after two doses in 28 days, according to a report from the Abu Dhabi government.

Another possible vaccine, developed through the Chinese company Sinovac Biotech, is also in the final phase in Brazil.

Another experimental vaccine, developed through the University of Oxford and the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, is also in Phase 3 in Brazil.

Studies published Monday in the British medical journal The Lancet revealed that the Oxford vaccine was and produced an immune reaction in early trials. (With firm contributions)
