China-Eurasian Armenian Council and Renmin University of China Sign Memorandum of Understanding

A Memorandum of Understanding signed between the China-Eurasia Strategic Policy and Research Council and the School of International Studies of Renmin University of China. The cooperation of the Parties under this Memorandum of Understanding will come with the organization of joint conferences, seminars and courses. , meetings and consultations of experts, implementation of joint study projects and preparation of publications, data exchange and educational publications.

In recent years, the China-Eurasia Strategic Policy and Research Council and the School of International Studies of Renmin University of China have already established cooperation. Starting in 2019, researchers from both sides attended educational conferences, courses, and seminars, such as: “Eurasian Research on Modern China and Eurasia,” “RUC Regional Studies Forum,” “Rethinking China under CCP Governance: Achievements, Projects, and Perspectives,” “Rethinking China’s Foreign Policy,” as well as an e-book presentation, organized on both sides.

It is also worth mentioning that on April 8, the two sides jointly organized the “First Armenia-China Forum” committed to the 30th anniversary of the status quo of diplomatic relations. Researchers from both sides are among the co-authors of “China and Eurasia: Rethinking Cooperation and Contradictions in the Era of the Changing World Order,” an e-book published through Routledge in 2021.

The memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the organizations was signed by Dr. Mher Sahakyan, founding director of the China-Eurasia Strategic Policy and Research Council and Professor Yang Guangbin, dean of the director of the School of International Studies.

Dr. Mher Sahakyan highlighted the importance of this partnership and said that the agreement will give further impetus to cooperation and implementation of international educational relations between the two institutions.
