Chile’s economic activity falls 11. 3% in August, more than expected

SANTIAGO – Chile’s economic activity plummeted by 11. 3% in August compared to the same month of the previous year, the central bank said Thursday, more than expected of an 8. 5% drop as the copper manufacturer struggles to exit the coronavirus pandemic.
