According to CHED President Prospero de Vera III, the SUC that has been switched to quarantine services has been able to space about 20,000 people, adding asymptomatic patients with COVID-19, patients with suspected coronavirus, and blocked individuals.
He added that CHED grants to suC would also continue to manufacture masks and disinfectants and to provide mental advice to academics and universities.
In the past, the Ministry of Education legalized the conversion of part of the study rooms of all public schools in the metropolitan domain of Manila to quarantine services amid the continued accumulation of COVID-19 infections in the country.
To date, there are 202,361 cases shown of COVID-19 across the country, 133,460 cures and 3,137 deaths.
