American Family Care, which has emergency care services in Marlborough, Natick, and Worcester, will use cell coronavirus test vans in schools and domain businesses to help expand pandemic testing.
The vans will be deployed from November 1st to sites across the state, with a forecast of offering 100 to 150 tests consistent with the day, adding for patients without symptoms. The vans will use the Abbott ID NOW molecular test, which provides effects in as little as 15 minutes.
American Family Care, which has 21 sites in Massachusetts, also offers coronavirus diagnostic tests for patients at its Worcester location at 117 Stafford St.
Meanwhile, an existing control site is being moved on the university campus of UMass Memorial Medical Center. The hospital will move the driving control tent to a location at the back of its construction at 306 Belmont Street on Wednesday.
