About Pressure Expanded Liquid Technology

Ceapro’s patented expanded pressurized gas (PGX) generation is an exclusive and disruptive generation with several key benefits over traditional drying and purification technologies that can be used to reshape biopolymers into high-value polymer designs with fine design and open porosity and new biocomposites. PGX is preferably suitable for the remedy of water-soluble biopolymers at the upper molecular weight. It has the ability to frequently manufacture ultralight and extremely porous polymer designs, which is not imaginable with existing traditional technologies. PGX was invented through Dr. Feral Temelli of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Alberta (U of A) with Dr. Bernhard Seifried, now Senior Director of Engineering Research and Technology at Ceapro. The U of A license provides Ceapro with exclusive global rights for all commercial applications.
