The U.S. government It is asking all hospitals to report new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and to report key coronavirus statistics to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This follows the Trump administration’s action in July, which ordered hospitals to report knowledge to a central knowledge base in Washington.
The CDC is now executing the construction of a new innovative knowledge formula for the collection of HOSPITAL knowledge COVID-19, which will gather all the applicable knowledge about the pandemic that has inflamed more than 5.7 million people and killed more than 176,000 people in the United States.
However, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) denied the decision to refer the notice to the CDC, saying they were working with the fitness company to collect data.
In July, the Trump administration ordered all hospitals to report on applicable knowledge about the new COVID-19 instances to a central knowledge base in Washington. The government’s resolution has been criticized by medical experts and public fitness groups.
A few weeks after the replacement in knowledge processing for COVID-19, legislators are not easy answers about replacement in reports. Because of inconsistencies in reported knowledge, lawmakers urge the Trump administration to oppose the resolution of hijacking COVID-19’s knowledge of the CDC.
“We urge you to oppose this decision, repair this knowledge-gathering role at the CDC, and take all steps to ensure that critical knowledge is collected and made public without political interference,” the presidents wrote.
“We are involved in this resolution being another example of the continued politicization of the public health administration of the coronavirus pandemic,” they added.
On July 10, the Ministry of Health and Human Services (HHS) ordered hospitals to avoid reporting knowledge of coronavirus hospitalization to the National Health Care Safety Network (NHSN) site, which has been used to report knowledge about hospitalizations for infectious diseases for more than a decade. . As of July 15, all hospital knowledge of COVID-19 instances was sent to TeleTracking Technologies, a personal company that signed a $10 million contract in April 2020.
Lawmakers noted that the generation used through personal business appears to be more complex than that used through the CDC for years.
“Like the NHSN, the new knowledge base is based on manual access to knowledge with inherent reporting timelines, as opposed to the automatic reporting that experts have requested. Experts also expressed fear that HHS would have the same experience as the CDC in analyzing and communicating this type of critical knowledge,” lawmakers said.
HHS has now reversed its resolution to replace the way hospitals report critical data on COVID-19 instances to the government. Deborah Birx, The White House coronavirus coordinator, announced that the existing formula in which hospitals report new cases is “just an interim formula” and that reports will soon return to the CDC.
Birx added that they were working with the CDC to build a new revolutionary knowledge formula to track COVID-19 in the United States.
However, HHS recently denied the article, according to an update by Gizmodo, saying it returns duty to the CDC. The knowledge collection formula will continue to be processed through HHS, while cdc participation will be limited to the progression of an automated reporting procedure to alleviate the burden of hospital notification.
In addition, the HHS spokesperson responded to Birx’s explanation of why the knowledge disclosure decision would be annulled and forwarded to the CDC.
The overall number of coronaviruses has now reached more than 23.35 million cases, with more than 807,000 people dying as a result of the infection. With cases on the rise in the United States, Brazil and India, as well as other South American countries, cases are expected to accumulate more in the coming weeks.
Brazil and India report the main cases of infection, with more than 3.6 million and 3 million cases respectively. Other countries with the largest number of instances shown are Russia, with more than 954,000 instances, South Africa, with at least 609,000 instances, Peru, with more than 585,000 instances and Mexico, with more than 560,000 instances.
Of all the cases shown, more than 15 million people have already recovered.
