CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has been tested for COVID-19, the public fitness firm announced Saturday. Walensky was tested Friday night and has mild symptoms, the firm said in a statement.
According to the statement, Walensky is up to date on his vaccinations. The firm says other people are “up to date” when they have won the number one series of a COVID-19 vaccine and the recent booster maximum dose.
Walensky is self-isolating at home and plans to participate in the meetings virtually, the CDC said.
