Due to regulations on coronavirus, Olam Yitzhak (Hall of Patriarch Isaac) in the Cave of the Patriarchs (Me’arat Hamachpeilah) in Hebron will be open to the public.
Site administration has announced that other parts of the site will be open until 9:45 p.m., with up to 30 more people allowed to enter at any time. Visitors will only be able to stay inside the building for 15 minutes.outside, in the square adjacent to the plot, in a domain covered with a shield awning opposite the sun, with chairs enabled for the faithful.
Today (Rosh Chodesh Elul), a crowd larger than this is expected to come to the building to pray, resulting in longer than the same wait times for those wishing to enter the building.
