cautiously positive Armenian prime minister on coronavirus

PanARMENIAN.Net – Coronavirus has made significant progress in Armenia and the country has embarked on the road to recovery, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing on Wednesday (July 29).

Pashinyan added, however, that if the government loosens control, the country may temporarily return to crisis.

The prime minister said the drop in the number of new coronavirus cases every day due to the government’s antiepidermal measures.

Health Minister Arsen Torosyan said Armenia has a “real possibility” of reducing the number of infections. He said there are now “many loose beds” in the country and revealed that some of the medical amenities would return to general activity.

The number of cases shown of coronavirus in Armenia increased between 308 and 37937 on Wednesday morning. So far, another 27824 people have recovered, 723 have died of coronavirus in the country, while another 225 have died from other causes.
