Spain’s Health Minister Monica Garcia has made mask-wearing mandatory in the country’s gyms as the country grapples with a surge in flu and COVID-19 infections. The Ministry of Health has mandated the use of masks in hospitals and fitness centers and has used masks in personal clinics, pharmacies, and other medical services, such as dentists’ offices. Several Spanish regions had already ordered patients, visitors and hospital staff to wear masks last week.
