The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has called corruption unacceptable in the acquisition of the Covid-19 non-public protection apparatus (EPI) and compared to murder. “If fitness staff paint without PPE, it threatens their lives, and also threatens the lives of the other people they serve. It’s criminal, and it’s murder, and it has to be the sensible thing to do, ” he said.
