BUCHAREST, Romania — Canada’s 3×3 women’s basketball team went undefeated in games to win the FIBA Bucharest Women’s Series on Friday.

The Canadians beat Italy 21-10 in the final, following victories over Düsseldorf and France on the day. They had Italy and Israel on the first day.

Michelle Plouffe of Edmonton led the way with 44 struggles and 27 rebounds in five games, while her twin sister Katherine finished with 33 problems and 37 rebounds, a tournament record.

Paige Crozon of Humboldt, Sask. , and Kacie Bosch of Lethbridge, Alta. , finished the Canadian team, which won a consecutive tournament for a moment. The Canadiens won the series level in Edmonton more than a week ago.

Katherine Plouffe had 10 problems and 14 rebounds in Canada’s last win over Italy.
