A heist at a game between Canada and Russia as part of a women’s hockey action was reportedly due to Canada not receiving COVID-19 effects from Russia that day.
Canada entered the ice in time for the scheduled start of the game. Many players in Russia have already gone in and out of COVID-19 protocols in this tournament.
Hockey Canada requested a 60-minute delay, which organizers granted. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p. m. Beijing time, or 12:15 a. m. ET.
