Canada extends ban to the maximum of foreign travellers

And Canadian citizens and permanent citizens returning from abroad will be subject to strict quarantine measures, Public Security Minister Bill Blair announced on Twitter.

This restriction has been in place since mid-March.

An exception made in June, which allows spouses, children, parents or guardians of Canadian citizens or permanent citizens to enter the country.

An agreement between Canada and the United States also allows must-see travelers to cross their shared border, the longest in the world. This agreement was extended before this month until 21 September.

All travelers were quarantined for 14 days upon arrival.

Foreigners with symptoms of COVID-19 can enter Canada.

Shipments continue.
