Alberta Health Services has the location of its COVID-19 detection center in Calgary.
AHS showed Tuesday that it is now conducting non-appointment testing at the former Greyhound bus terminal, just off 14th Street between Ninth Avenue and Bow Trail S. W.
“COVID-19 detection in the Calgary domain will now be performed at the Bow Trail Assessment Center,” reads in a statement provided to CTV Calgary. “It’s a bigger domain and more suitable for accommodating others for reserved, no-appointment testing. “
The Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Center, which in the past was the no-appointment testing site, is still conducting tests, but only by appointment.
Stopovers with all the dates that come to the Richmond Road site, stop at the Bow Trail (Greyhound) site and added that if other people have no way to get to the Bow Trail site, they will do their best to supply one on Richmond Road.
AHS added that “the fastest and most effective way to be verified is to make an appointment online www. ahs. ca/covid. The online tool provides verification appointments at all AHS assessment centers that have check availability within 75 kilometers of your zip code.
AhS is also running with pharmacies, which it claims to load for asymptomatic tests.
