Britons travelling on a British passport can enter South Africa for any reason for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa. The date on which you will have to leave the country is indicated on your access stamp. Those who have dual citizenship with South Africa will have to enter and leave the country their South African passport.

South Africa has lifted its Covid restrictions, travellers no longer want to provide evidence of vaccination to enter. There is no longer a testing requirement, indoor face masks are no longer wanted, and there are no limits to meetings.
