Saudi Arabia is one of the 20 most sensitive markets in the world for Korean pop music known as K-pop, according to new knowledge published via Twitter, as teams of children and women of the genre continue their unexpected global expansion.
The data, published Tuesday via Twitter in partnership with K-pop Radar, suggest that K-pop has continued its global march even though the coronavirus pandemic prevents live broadcasts and occasions at home or abroad.
“K-pop is a global network on Twitter that has become a developing phenomenon for over the more than 10 years. . . Even this COVID-19 pandemic when K-pop concerts, global tours, and fan appreciation occasions were canceled, he “saw no decline in #KpopTwitter conversations,” said YeonJeong Kim, K-pop’s head of global partnerships on Twitter.
