Wisconsin reported fewer coronavirus cases in the week ending Sunday, adding 7,835 new cases. That’s down 16. 1% from last week’s tally of 9,334 new cases of the virus that causes COVID-19.
Wisconsin ranked 22nd among the states where the coronavirus spread the fastest, according to a study by Johns Hopkins University’s USA TODAY data network. Over the past week, coronavirus cases in the United States have declined 4. 7% from beyond the week, with 507,209 cases reported. With 1. 75 percent of the nation’s population, Wisconsin recorded 1. 54 percent of the nation’s cases last week. Nationwide, 3 states have had more cases in the week since than in the week since.
The Labor Day holiday would likely have replaced the number of other people who can be controlled and when, and when governments report the effects and deaths of controls. This will distort comparisons from week to week.
Brown County has reported 466 and one death in the past week. A week earlier, he had reported 554 and two deaths. During the pandemic, it has reported 95,674 and 584 deaths.

In Wisconsin, the worst weekly outbreaks per user occurred in Menominee County with 571 cases per 100,000 per week; Jackson County with 392; and Marinette County with 300. The Centers for Disease Control says the network’s highest levels of transmission start at 100 instances per 100,000 per week.
Milwaukee County, with 1385 instances, added the maximum number of new instances overall; Dane County, with 888 instances; and Brown County, with 466. The number of weekly instances is higher in 15 counties than last week. The worst increases from last week’s speed occurred in Douglas, Marinette and St. Croix.
In Wisconsin, another 29 people were reported to have died from COVID-19 in the week ending Sunday. Last week, another 49 people were pronounced dead.
A total of 1,843,251 people in Wisconsin have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic began, and another 15,120 people have died from the disease, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. In the United States, 95,250,705 more people tested positive and 1,050,323 other people died.
