British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Monday that the existing emerging number of COVID-19 cases relates to the government’s prognosis, so the coming weeks would be to see if local closures can succeed over the virus.
“The occurrence we see in cases is quite where we thought we were,” Johnson said after Britain reported an increase in the number of daily COVID-19 cases to a record 22,961 on Sunday.
A technical challenge had meant that more than 15,000 verification effects had been transferred on time to PC systems, adding touch markers.
“To be honest, I think the slightly declining numbers we saw don’t reflect where we think the disease is most likely to go, so I think the numbers are realistic,” Johnson said.

When asked about a vaccine, Johnson said he felt that an assignment from AstraZeneca was about to be one.
“We’re running very, very hard to get one,” Johnson said of a vaccine. “We’re still there. “
“I went to see the Oxford scientists at the Jenner Institute, the AstraZeneca team; it’s amazing what they do. You know you think they have to be about to do it, but you have to prove it right,” Johnson said.
