BREAKING: Disgraced MLB Star Wander Franco Has Gone Missing In The Dominican Republic

Wander Franco has disappeared in the Dominican Republic and the local police have not been able to locate him.

A report by the newspaper Listín Diario claims that the government has searched two houses in search of the disgraced MLB star, but has discovered him and knows his whereabouts.

One of the homes belongs to Franco and the other is his mother’s. The police are said to have left contact information with his wife.

The shortstop has been under investigation by both DR police and the MLB since allegations of relationships with at least two underage teens popped up during the summer.

According to Dominican journalist Héctor Gómez, “new evidence has been discovered in the case of Wander Franco that additionally implicates him in the accusations made against him related to alleged relationships with minors. “

The Tampa Bay Rays released Franco after reports surfaced in August, including announcements and highlights while photos of him in their stadium were removed. It also appears that Franco products have been ditched from the team stores.

The MLB put him on administrative leave for the final 42 games of the season.

It is not yet clear whether police intended to question Franco or arrest him.
