MANILA, Philippines – The 4,040 new COVID-19 instances reported Friday brought the total number of instances in the country to more than 250,000, according to the most recent bulletin from the Ministry of Health (DOH).
At least 88. 8% of active cases have mild symptoms, while 8. 4% are asymptomatic; 1. 1% are in serious condition and 1. 7% are critical.
These five spaces were placed in the past under a progressive network quarantine that was changed from August 4 to 17.
Most of the new instances reported were in August (1207) and September (2754), there were even more instances in March (5), April (2), May (6) and June (8).
Most of the reported deaths also came here in August and September, however, there are also casualties in April (3), June (1) and July (2) who have only been reported now.
The DOH says it also deleted 23 instances of the overall count after verifying and deleting duplicate entries.
