Brazil reports 700,000 covid deaths, the moment in the world

SAO PAULO—Brazil on Tuesday reported 700,000 deaths due to Covid-19 in the South American nation, which has the second-highest number of coronavirus deaths after the United States.

Brazilians Fitness Mavens say that the maximum of other people who die of COVID-19 in recent days are not vaccinated or suffer other weakening diseases.

“The vaccine lately that will be taken in each fitness unit in Brazil may have replaced the lives of families that have lost loved ones in the pandemic,” said the country’s ministry of health.

Health Minister Nisia Trindade criticized former President Jair Bolsonaro for his handling of the pandemic. Bolsonaro, who fell with Covid, then refused to take the vaccine and the fitness restrictions breached.

“We will have to read about the past, but at the same time, we will have to say that the Ministry of Health cannot make the mistake of not coordinating, not taking care, not treating [the disease]. We will have to be united, so new tragedies do not occur,” said Trindade.

Miguel Lago, executive director of the Institute of Health Policies of Brazil, who advises public aptitude officials, said the figure is a reminder of the country’s legal responsibility to punish those who did not act in opposition to the virus or sabotaged those who tried.

“There is a direct duty for public officials, who may have responded much better,” Lago told The Associated Press.
