Brazil reopens its doors to foreign tourists despite record number of cases and deaths of COVID-19

International air travelers are again invited to travel to Brazil; they still suffer from record cases and coronavirus deaths.

The country is the time for the United States in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, and it still has trouble containing the virus.

But the government announced it would reopen Wednesday after its borders were closed to tourists since March.

Tourists from all countries will be able to travel to 4 foreign airports in Brazil, provided they obtain a fitness insurance policy for the duration of their trip.

Brazil reported a total of 2,610,102 coronavirus and 91,263 deaths on Friday.

Wednesday’s daily total of 69,000 new cases and 1,595 deaths in the country were a new  record, according to Bloomberg.
